International Symposium on Art in Public Space

It will be held from August 30 to September 1 Speaking Cities: International Symposium on Art in Public SpaceIt is an open event that seeks to bring the public closer to the topic of art in the public space. Within the academic agenda, topics such as the transformation of territories, the right to the city and experiences of sustainability will be addressed. In addition, working groups will be held that seek to resolve issues related to these issues, the results of which will be used in building public policies.

Scenarios such as the University of Jorge Tadeo Lozano, the Central University and the Museum of Modern Art of Bogotá (MAMBO) will be a meeting place where artists and citizens will come together to create spaces for the exchange of knowledge about art in public spaces, by international panelists such as Blanca Fernández (Spain), Javier Almiron (Argentina) , Carla Pinochet (Chile), Flor Goldstein (Argentina), Javier Peña Ibáñez (Spain), Callahan Rojas (Mexico); and other national guests such as Juan Covelli, Edgar Guzmanruiz, Daniel Sanchez, Juanico Moreno, Daisy C. Mendez, Edwin Fabian “Trazo” Ruiz, Quina Lionel Luisa, Armando Bouchard and Gabriel Martínez.
