INAOE welcomed 30 high school students to attend a Youth Science workshop

he National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics, and Electronics (INAOE) l received 30 male and female students Second year of high school in a city PueblaAnd San Andres CholulaAnd San Pedro Cholula and nearby communities Santa Maria Tonantzintla in it 22nd Youth Science Workshop (TCJ)which was implemented From 17 to 21 July in the research center facilities.

After three consecutive virtual editions in 2020, 2021 and 2022, the 2023 edition has returned to its face-to-face format, with the aim of cheering. Scientific professions in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, bringing young people closer to science through talks, demonstrations, intensive workshops, and tours to laboratories of research fields cultivated in INAOE.

It was inaugurated by Dr. Daniel Dorini Romero, director of technology research and development; the doctor Patricia GuzmanResponsible for the planning and liaison office; the doctor Agustin Marquez LemonAstrophysics Coordination Technician, and Physician Francisco Soto EjebarResearcher in coordinating optics. The latter two are active participants in the TCJ in all its editions.
