(CNN) — Shannen Doherty won’t let cancer stop her from living.
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star, 52, will debut the new iHeartRadio Podcast “Let’s be clear with Shannon Doherty” In early December. It is a plan that covers many aspects of your life, both professional and personal.
Doherty told the press People In an interview published this Tuesday, she said topics will include the experience of living with cancer and that she will explore “all the different stages of the disease, including what it is to lose your hair, (and) how to be authentic.” yourself.”
In June this year, Doherty announced on social media that the cancer had spread to her brain and then her bones.
The “Charm” star was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, but went into remission two years later. In 2020, Doherty announced that the cancer had returned and was stage 4 metastatic.
“I’m not done living, I’m not done loving. I’m not done creating. I’m not done hoping to change things for the better,” she told PEOPLE this week. “I’m not done.”
Doherty said the podcast inspired her journey, calling it “uplifting” and that she thought it would definitely help her.
“When I’m working and being creative, there’s no room for depression. It gives me energy,” he said. “I’m really happy to work. Even the producers of my podcast are like, ‘Really? You’re going to do three episodes in one day? That’s a lot.’ And I said, ‘I can do five in one day.'”
