The IES de Mos will open in the next academic year Basic vocational training course in commercial services Thanks to the expansion of facilities that Xunta is carrying out. It is for this reason that the Minister of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and Universities, Roman Rodríguez, visited the Musensee Institute yesterday to inspect the progress of these expansion works, included in the new Pedagogical Architecture Plan, which increased by 27% in total. With regard to IES de Mos, the Minister explained that more than 720 thousand euros have been invested in the aforementioned works. “A procedure in which we are responding to the needs of one of the boards with the greatest educational demand and which we plan to complete to start the course, so that students can enjoy the new spaces from day one,” Rodriguez stated.

In this sense, Roman Rodriguez highlighted the importance of school libraries, an area in which “Galicia is a state standard and which have become real learning laboratories and which contribute to good results for Galician students in reading comprehension”. Thus, the new library includes a study area on the first floor connected to the ground floor through the construction of stairs.

The chancellor was accompanied on his visit to Moss by Mayor Nydia Arevalo. Education Consultant Julia Loureiro; So are Musense Council members Camilo Grandal and Fili Rodriguez, directors and principals of all public educational centers in the municipality.
