Holguin Airport seeks private sector partners

The Frank País Airport in the province of Holguin, Cuba, invites private workers who want to offer their products and services. The state installation is published in its virtual spaces, a formal reference for national private businesses to access airport areas.

The notification reveals that the registration period for interested aspirants will be from April 20 to June 20 of the current year. Officials say entrepreneurs can only use the company’s outdoor areas to sell their products.

Along with the report, a series of elements that individual companies should take into account to select a proposal are specified. Users should formalize their evidence in one document, both in original and through digital and printed channels.

The format of the document will be typeface of size 21.51 and 27.94 cm and will be sent to the Business Department of UEBHOG. The center is located at the airport and is directed towards the central highway via Bayamo at kilometer 11 and a half in Holguin City.

After the government’s initiative came to light, many negative comments were seen on Facebook profiles. People criticized the amount of paperwork to provide, as it bureaucratized procedures and made it difficult to obtain management materials and tools. Earlier in the month, Antonio Maceo Airport in Santiago de Cuba asked local merchants for help to support fine gastronomy.
