SAN FRANCISCO — Patrick Bailey hit a two-run homer in the tenth inning and the San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers 3-2 on Sunday thanks to a one-hit save by All-Star closer Camilo Dowell. Game losing streak.

Logan Webb came within one inning of his second shutout of the season when JP Martinez doubled on his 107th and final pitch. Martinez, making his debut Friday, scored from second on Ezequiel Duran’s groundout to shortstop and beat Brandon Crawford’s pitch for the infield hit.
Duran opened the tenth with a pinch runner on base, advancing on Josh Sid’s fly-out single to score Dowell (4-3), his fourth save in 37 chances.
For the Rangers, Cuban Adolis Garcia is 4-0. Dominican’s Ezequiel Duran scored a run at 3-2 and RBI’s Leodi Taveras was 4-0.
For the Giants, Venezuela’s Wilmar Flores went 1-0 and Tyro Estrada scored a run to make it 5-3. Puerto Rican Heliot Ramos 4-1.
