German Olympic team withdraws from racism over friendship against Honduras

The Honduran Football Association said on its Twitter page: “The match ended in the 87th minute after a German player was allegedly insulted by a member of the Honduran national team for racist insults.

Germany coach Stefan Kundz said: “When one of our players is racially abused, it is not an option to continue playing.”

The Olympic Games Preparatory Games were held behind closed doors in Wakayama, Japan.
