What is the round of 16 matches and when are they played? Euro 2024?

How does Switzerland get there?
Switzerland qualified second in Group A with 5 points, 5 goals and 3 goals against. Marco Rossi's men beat Hungary 3-1 in the group stage, drew 1-0 against Scotland and came very close to defeating Germany on the final day, but Nicklas Fulkrug saved the tie in the final minutes for the Bavarians and the result went to Switzerland. Finish in second place.
How does Italy get there?
Like Austria, La Azzurri finished the group stage as the second best team in its division with 4 points, 3 goals and 3 goals against. Italy made their debut in the tournament with a win over Albania, but they lost to Spain in the second round and on the final day they qualified for the round of 16 thanks to Mattia Zacagni's beautiful score in the dying seconds against Croatia. The team won the match 1-0.

How is Germany coming along?
'Die Mannschaft' advanced to the round of 16 in first place in Group A with 7 points and +6 goal difference. The German team scored 8 goals and conceded only 2 goals in the group stage, but their performance against Switzerland has worried their fans ahead of their match against Denmark. It should be noted that Germany have not won the European Championship since 1996.
How is Denmark coming along?
Denmark went undefeated in the group stage, but did not win a single match. With three draws, Denmark progressed to the Round of 16 as second in Group C and finished with 2 goals against 2. Denmark does not boast big stars in its squad but dreams of reaching the semi-finals, emulating its performance at the European Championships three years ago.

How does England get there?
Despite being unbeaten in the group stage, England, who topped Group C with 5 points, head into the round of 16 amid doubts after a lackluster performance. Despite having a squad full of great individuals, England coach Gareth Southgate has been widely criticized for not knowing how to get the best out of his stars, and many England fans fear their team's path to Euro 2024 could end around 16.
How is Slovakia coming along?
Slovakia finished third in Group E with 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss. Slovakia sealed one of the surprise wins in the group stage by beating Belgium 1-0 and, curiously, scored more goals than France in the group stage.

How is Spain coming along?
For many, La Roja is the favorite to win Euro 2024, thanks to its extraordinary performance in the group stage and being the only team to win all of its games. With 9 points, Spain won Group B and the Iberian fans are excited that their team will win the first Euro Cup since 2012.
How does Georgia get there?
In its first participation at the Euro Cup, Georgia qualified for the round of 16 after an extraordinary performance against Portugal on the final group day. Georgia qualified third in Group F with 4 points and they hope to stage a fresh surprise against Spain.

How does France get there?
Surprisingly, France were winless in Group D and advanced to the round of 16 in second place in their group. Les Bleus have big names in all their lines, but in the group stage they only scored two goals, one of which was an own goal. However, France should be considered as title contenders, even if they are not in the best form.
How does Belgium get there?
With 1 win, 1 draw and 1 loss. The Red Devils qualified for the round of 16 as second in Group E and will face a powerful French side. The Belgian team is in the process of renewal and did not show the best form in the group stage, however, fans believe that Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku can lead Belgium to the quarter-finals.

How is Portugal coming along?
The Cristiano Ronaldo-led team faced disappointment in the group stage when they surprisingly lost against Georgia. However, despite the setback, Portugal progressed to the next round at the top of Group F with 6 points and have the best chance of progressing to the quarter-finals by playing against Slovenia in the qualifiers.
How is Slovenia coming along?
Slovenia qualified for the round of 16 of the Euro Cup for the first time. With a record of three draws in the group stage, Slovenia booked their ticket to the next round by finishing as one of the best third-placed sides and will look to make their history even bigger against Portugal.

How is Austria coming along?
The Austrian team were declared champions of Group D with 6 points and raced ahead of France and the Netherlands to top the division. Austria have never qualified for the Euro quarter-finals, so the players are dreaming of achieving a historic performance.
How does Turkey get there?
With six points, Turkey moved up to second place in Group F and became one of the few teams to win two games in the group stage. Turkey have a squad with many talented players and their match against Austria looks to be one of the most attractive matches of the round of 16.

How is Romania coming along?
Romania topped the group with four points from three rounds of group stage wins, draws and losses. In the said division, E, the four teams were tied on four points, but the different tie-breaking criteria made the tournament a surprise first.
How to get to the Netherlands?
A shock defeat against Austria saw the 'Clockwork Orange' drop to third place and finish the group stage with 4 points. However, not finishing among the best in their group will allow them to face Romania, who are good performers but the Netherlands look better.
When will the quarter-finals of Euro 2024 be played?
The quarter-finals will be played on Friday 5th July and Saturday 6th July with two matches each day. Friday's games will be played in Stuttgart and Hamburg, while Saturday's will be played in Dusseldorf and Berlin. The first match of the day will start at 10:00 AM (CDMX) and the second match will start at 1:00 PM (CDMX).
When will the Euro 2024 semi-finals be played?
The first semifinal is scheduled for Tuesday, July 9 at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The second semi-final will take place on Wednesday 10 July at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund at 1:00pm (CDMX).
When will the Euro 2024 final be played?
The Euro 2024 title match will take place on Sunday, July 14 at 1:00pm (CDT). The tournament will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
