Envision Festival has released the second phase of its 2026 programme, confirming more than 100 additional artists, educators, and performers for the week-long event scheduled for 23 February to 2 March 2026 in Uvita, Costa Rica. The update introduces major new headline acts, expanded cultural programming, and a series of reforms aimed at strengthening sustainability, public safety, and the overall visitor experience.
Phase 2 Lineup Announcement
The latest programme additions include international headliners Polo & Pan, who will make their Costa Rica debut, alongside electronic producer Damian Lazarus. They join roots reggae performer Dezarie and bass music acts Ivy Lab and Memba. These artists expand a Phase 1 roster already set to feature Envision regulars Bob Moses, CloZee, and Daily Bread.
The 2026 edition marks the festival’s 16th anniversary and continues its evolution from a traditional music gathering into a week-long retreat combining music, movement, visual art, and educational programming. Set along Costa Ballena on the country’s southern Pacific coast, the event makes use of a unique setting where the Pacific Ocean meets the foothills of the Cordillera de Talamanca mountain range—an area recognised as one of the world’s most biodiverse regions.
Expanded Cultural and Educational Programming
Phase 2 strengthens the educational and cultural elements of the festival with workshops in regenerative living, permaculture, and indigenous knowledge. Elders from the YAWANAWA community will return to share ancestral teachings, while performers including fire dancers, aerialists, and movement specialists from around the world will add to the programme’s diversity.
This year’s theme, “Back to Our Roots”, reflects the festival’s strategic emphasis on cultural authenticity, environmental stewardship, and community integration. Organisers say the shift is part of a broader redesign aimed at respecting the land and reinforcing relationships with local partners.

Guest Experience and Sustainability Improvements
In addition to its expanded lineup, the festival has announced new operational measures. Attendance will be capped at 5,500—2,000 fewer people than previous years—to create a more intimate atmosphere.
Water stewardship initiatives have also been strengthened. A new on-site water system featuring filtration, storage, and distribution infrastructure will help reduce reliance on local resources. High-capacity tanks will be installed to support conservation, and waterless composting toilets will be implemented throughout the venue.
The festival is also building deeper ties with the Costa Rican community by employing more local staff and performers, sourcing food and drink from regional producers, and expanding its reforestation and composting efforts within the Southern Zone.
Additional Phase 2 Highlights
Musical additions to the lineup include Shima, Chancha Via Circuito, Grouch in Dub, Christian Löffler, Parra for Cuva, Justin Martin, Rampue, 5AM Trio, Magpie Jay, Mfinity, Nina, Nominus, Oveous, and Yoko.
Educational contributors will include Aubrey Marcus, Nat Kelly, Blu of Earth, and Sacred Sons, offering sessions on consciousness, wellbeing, and regenerative practices. Ana Elizondo Indígena Boruca will return to lead the Sacred Fire Ceremony, while movement workshops will be directed by Amenti and other international facilitators.
