ICCTI is a governmental organization that seeks to promote the application of scientific and technological knowledge to improve the living conditions of the Chaco people. The Foundation is responsible for designing, managing and implementing programs and tools that promote the creation, use, dissemination and transfer of socially and economically useful knowledge, with actors in the local scientific and technological ecosystem. Among the main challenges facing the new administration, the need to strengthen links with other areas of provincial government, universities, research centers and industrial and productive sectors was highlighted.

“I am very grateful to be here, and I believe that the career I have achieved in university administration, scientific policy and communication policy allows me to take that experience and put it into this new challenge,” Delfina Ferravi said. At the same time, he noted, “Our goal is to link knowledge more strongly to the development of the province.” For the current President of ICCTI, the Institute has a very important function of strengthening the relationship between the production of scientific and technological knowledge and innovation, which takes place in the academic world and in research centers, with all areas that generate public policies and the private sector.

He stressed that ICCTI’s role is to be the link and bridge between the academic, government and business sectors. “When the governor summoned me, he asked me to create a workspace that cuts across all government policies and all sectors, which is a political decision that seeks to expand the impact of the activities implemented by ICCTI,” he explained. Veiravé is a UNNE graduate in Educational Sciences, with postgraduate studies in Education, Society and Higher Education Management. In addition, she has worked as an undergraduate and graduate professor, researcher and human resources trainer. She was President of North-East National University for two terms, from 2014-2018 and 2018-2022. She previously served as Vice-Chancellor of UNNE, and Dean and Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Humanities.

The current President of ICCTI, she was also Vice-President and Chair of the National Inter-University Council (CIN), from 2019 to 2021. In addition, she was a member of the National Inter-University Council for Science and Technology representing the National Inter-University Council (CIN) for the NEA region. . He is currently a member of the Economic and Social Council of Argentina, representing the academic sector.

For his part, Vice President of ICCTI, Alejandro Gorodner, is a doctor specialized in public health, pathology and general surgery and linked to research through UNNE.
