Carlos Rodondi and Rodrigo Cruz gave SCORE Azul their first win in the Sky Cup this Friday. A goal from Gustavo Del Petré saw the cement manufacturers lose to Pumas de la UNAM. But in the second half Arreon will come, taking three points when the Angels visit Ciudad Universitaria.

Thanks to this win on the second date, and after the draw on the opening day against Nekaxa, LCoaches led by Raul Gutierrez are positioned as sole leaders of Group A of the competition this season.. The Cougars, for their part, have only added one unit over the two dates and are on the back foot.

America and Nexaxa played this Thursday and that match was also a draw, so qualification for the next round rests in the hands of Cruz Azul, who now has fights against Americanista Club and the Red Devils of Toluca pending.

Further, They are also the only team with a positive goal difference after two games. A 0-0 loss on day one leaves them +1 ahead of today’s 2-1 draw. Cruz Azul’s next commitment will be on December 22 against Toluca at the Nemesio Tez Stadium.
