Tijuana.- In collaboration with local authorities such as the Tijuana Municipal Sports Institute, Civil Society organizations such as the Placemaking Mexico Foundation, and the Alliance for Urban Recovery; Fundación Coca-Cola and Corporación del Fuerte supported the recovery of a multipurpose field, a plaza and bleachers in Playas de Tijuana.

The project consisted of painting 900m2 of floor with circles so that people learn to enjoy the public space at a healthy distance; A modular citizen forum was also installed so that small groups can live together without getting infected; 120 plants and 10 trees were planted to improve the environmental dimension of the space; as well as they recovered it from four sinks that had fallen into disuse, so that everyone can wash their hands frequently.

The objective of this intervention was to recover a public space so that people can live together at a healthy distance while exercising and doing outdoor activities, in addition to promoting citizen learning in the respectful use of public spaces.

Fundación Coca-Cola will continue, through these comprehensive projects, reaffirming its commitment to the comprehensive well-being of Baja California in order to promote positive change for the construction of a favorable tomorrow for Baja Californians.
