Wisconsin heavy rock veterans Carbellion have released a new single and music video, “This Is Our Style,” offering another preview of their forthcoming full-length album of the same name. The 11-track record is scheduled for release on November 13, 2026, through Eclipse Records.
Directed by Kenny Boufadene of Studio Meltdown, the new video was filmed at the Annual Violators Car Club private party in July 2026. The production brings together classic American muscle cars, heavy guitar riffs and the band’s long-standing interest in automotive culture.
“This Is Our Style” is the second of three music videos tied to the upcoming album and follows Carbellion’s 2023 release, Weapons of Choice, also issued through Eclipse Records.
Carbellion Brings Muscle Cars and Heavy Rock Together
Rather than using soundstages or green-screen effects, Carbellion filmed the video on location, placing the band’s music against a backdrop of classic cars and the atmosphere of a private car-club gathering.
The song reflects interests shared by the band members, particularly their enthusiasm for music and muscle cars. Musically, the track uses a slower tempo and heavy groove intended to capture the feeling of driving on the open road.
“I thought it would be cool to write a song about something all of us in the band genuinely connect over.” explains drummer Brent Nimz. ” We all love muscle cars and music, so it felt natural to bring those two things together and build a song around that shared passion. I knew from the start that I wanted to keep the tempo a little slower and give the song a heavier, more powerful feel. I wanted to write something that felt good cruising down the road—one of those songs where you can’t help but nod your head to the beat or tap your foot along with it. The groove was important to me, and I wanted it to have that steady, driving feel from beginning to end. I also wanted the chorus to be simple, memorable, and the kind of thing that would stick in your head after just a couple of listens. To me, this is really about combining two things we all love and turning that into a song that feels like us.”
Carbellion has spent more than two decades developing its place within the American underground heavy rock scene. The Southeastern Wisconsin group blends elements of grunge, desert rock, stoner rock and traditional heavy rock, building on the musical direction established across its earlier releases.
‘This Is Our Style’ Album Arrives November 13
The forthcoming This Is Our Style album features 10 original compositions along with a cover of “Open Up Your Eyes,” originally recorded by alternative rock band Tonic.
Among the album’s original tracks is “I Don’t Want to Be Your Dog,” which examines the darker side of the rock-and-roll lifestyle. The title track serves as a statement of the band’s identity, drawing directly from its members’ shared enthusiasm for fast cars, loud amplification and heavy music.
Another track, “Get Down,” is positioned as a thematic successor to “Barfight,” which appeared on Weapons of Choice in 2023.
Carbellion produced the new album alongside Chris Djuricic, whose credits include Nonpoint, Soil and Jungle Rot. Recording work took place at Belle City Sound.
The record was mastered by Andy VanDette at Evolve Mastering. VanDette’s previous credits include work with Beastie Boys, Porcupine Tree and Rush. Chris Schultz created the album’s cover artwork.
