Cleveland – The Cleveland Indians cannot catch the Chicago White Socks on the AL Central table, so they have opted to help their division rival.

Cleveland sent Venezuela’s second paceman Caesar Hernandez to first place on Thursday for the White Sox, in exchange for small league pitcher Connor Bilkington – the trade seems to have agreed to the Indians division.

“We have a very good understanding of the business we are thinking of, and this is the direction we are going,” said Chris Antonetti, head of sports operations in India. “When we try to be realistic in assessing where we stand, we will do everything we can to win as many games as possible.

“But the truth is, the White Sox are ahead of a good number of games and we’re trying to improve. If they do not get Caesar, we hope they will get another talented player from another team.”

Leading by 8.5 games over the Indians on Friday, the White Sox, who will start a series against them, are looking for a second pacer since opening star Nick Madrigal suffered a thigh tear. Its season ended on June 10th.

Intermediate exchange created a strange situation. With the Indians playing in Chicago this weekend, the team agreed to take Hernandez’s squad before facing Venezuela for the first time.

With the arrival of Hernandez, Chicago welcomes the Golden Glove defender. The 31-year-old Venezuela is batting.223 in his second season with 96 appearances against the Indians, eight Homers and 47 Reserve Banks.
