Buckell appoints new officers to his cabinet

This Friday the President was sworn in as the new Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs and External Affairs.

Naeem Bukhale was sworn in as the new chief minister in his cabinet on Friday. Raoul Antonio Juares Cestoni was appointed Deputy Minister of the Interior and Regional Development, and served as National Director in the Ministry of Education.

Chestoni is an architect who graduated in 1993 with a master’s degree in business administration, business school and industrial organization from the University of Complutens in Spain, and training in finance and project management, according to data from the Cope SV portal.

In 2019, after the arrival of the current administration of the Union Government, he served as the Deputy Minister of Transport, resigning in August, two months after taking office. In his resignation he accused him of “personal matters”.

Chestoni replaces Franklin Castro, who also served as director general of the post office, which is an honorary post in advertising, and he has resigned, according to a statement from the Gaza Presidential.

Another appointment announced this Friday is the appointment of Adriana Meera as Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations, Coordination and Economic Development; Patricia Commendary replaces Genoty.

Mira has been the Director of Economic Development at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since February 2020.

“He holds a master’s degree in business and international law and a degree in foreign relations,” the president said in the letter.
