Biobío International Book Fair will grow in space, exhibitors and activities for its 2023 edition

From January 13 to 22, 2023, the University of Concepcion will host the Biobío International Book Fair (FILB), which is jointly organized with the regional government.

The event, which will take place within the framework of the summer school “Voices, Imaginations and Interruptions”, will bring the community together with more than one hundred exhibitors and nearly two hundred publishing houses, including book distributors, publishers and regional libraries. Nationally and internationally, on the fairgrounds that will be parallel to the central lawns of the Concepcion Campus in UdeC, between the Central Library and Plaza del Estudiante. The goal is to exceed 25 thousand people.

In parallel, there will be art performances, children’s activities, meetings for university publishers and public libraries, which include the Concepcion and Los Angeles campuses.

The recent winner of the National Prize for Literature, Hernán Rivera-Littler, will be responsible for the opening of this edition of the exhibition.
