BELIEVE is preparing to expand its styling range with the launch of a new blow-dry primer designed to deliver lift and fullness, as the brand targets shoppers looking for lightweight volume and longer-lasting body.

Launching on 16 February 2026, the BELIEVE Speak Volumes Spirit Lift Primer will debut nationwide at Whole Foods Market in the United States, including online availability through the retailer, and will also be sold directly via www.believe.hair. The launch coincides with the arrival of the wider Speak Volumes collection.

The company is positioning the product as a pre-styling essential aimed at consumers who want visible root lift without stiffness, residue, or heaviness—an increasingly competitive corner of the haircare market where brands are blending styling performance with scalp-focused ingredient claims.

The product will retail at $12.99, placing it firmly within the accessible mass-premium segment, and is designed to be used ahead of heat styling, particularly blow-drying.

A blow-dry primer aimed at lift, softness and heat-prep

In its product description, BELIEVE describes the new release as: “A targeted, pre-styling primer created to lift hair at the root while smoothing, protecting, and prepping strands for heat styling.” The company says the formula is intended to support styling routines by improving shape and texture while maintaining a lightweight feel.

BELIEVE’s positioning leans into performance without compromising hair texture, with the brand stating: “Applied before blow-drying, it enhances shape and texture while keeping hair soft, touchable, and weightless.”

The brand is also leaning on ingredient-led messaging to differentiate the product from traditional volumising sprays and mousses that can leave hair feeling rigid or sticky. BELIEVE says the primer is formulated to deliver not only immediate styling benefits, but also longer-term results through continued use.

As outlined in the launch information, the company describes its differentiation as follows: “Formulated with a 3% Biotin Complex, Copper Peptides, and Caffeine, Spirit Lift Primer works on both the scalp and strands to support stronger-looking hair and more resilient volume over time – not just a temporary boost.”

The focus on both scalp and hair fibre aligns with broader trends in haircare, where brands increasingly link styling products with claims around scalp health, strand strength, and overall hair resilience.

Ingredient blend targets scalp support and strand strength

BELIEVE’s formulation highlights three key components intended to work in tandem, with the company describing the mechanism under the heading “How Volume Is Built.”

According to the brand, Copper Peptides are positioned as a scalp-supporting ingredient, with BELIEVE stating they: “Help energize and optimize the scalp environment for healthier-looking, fuller hair over time.” The inclusion reflects a growing interest in peptides in personal care, particularly where brands aim to bridge the gap between cosmetic and treatment-adjacent benefits.

Caffeine is presented as a root-focused ingredient, which the company says: “Stimulates and refreshes the scalp to reduce the look of flat, tired hair and support visible lift at the roots.” Caffeine is commonly used across haircare products and is often marketed for its energising properties and its ability to support a refreshed scalp feel.

Meanwhile, Biotin is framed as a strand-strengthening component. BELIEVE says it: “Supports hair’s natural structure, helping reinforce each strand so hair looks thicker, stronger, and more resilient.” Biotin remains a familiar ingredient for consumers and continues to feature prominently in strengthening and thickening product narratives.

Target consumers and how to apply

The company is aiming the product at shoppers who experience a lack of lift or who find their hair quickly becomes weighed down during the day. BELIEVE says the primer is ideal for: “Fine, flat, or easily weighed-down hair,” as well as: “Anyone seeking volume without stiffness,” and: “Blow-dry routines that need lift + longevity.”

Application is designed to fit into a standard post-wash routine, with BELIEVE advising: “Spray throughout wet or towel-dried hair from lengths to ends. Blow-dry and style as desired for maximum lift and body.”

With distribution secured through Whole Foods Market nationwide and online, BELIEVE is seeking to capture shoppers looking for clean-leaning personal care and performance styling, while maintaining a price point that supports impulse trial.

The February launch will also test consumer appetite for volume-first styling products that promise both immediate results and longer-term resilience—particularly as shoppers continue to prioritise lightweight textures and multi-benefit formulas in daily hair routines.
