US company workers are demanding paid sick leave, essential psychological support, and a respectful work environment.

A group of Apple employees posted a statement on Twitter on Thursday announcing that they would be striking on December 24 to demand improvements in working conditions.

“We are addressing all Apple employees and customers! Tomorrow, December 24, 2021, Apple workers are organizing a stop/call to demand better working conditions,” the statement read.

In their statement, the American company’s employees demanded paid sick leave, adequate psychological support and a respectful work environment.

They also asked customers not to purchase Apple products online and in physical stores until the company meets their demands.

In September, a group of Apple employees general A letter urging the company’s CEO, Tim Cook, to improve working conditions at the company. In the letter they asked for fair wages, a guarantee of employee privacy and the creation of a comfortable and safe working environment.
