The Tenth Peace Court today acquitted former mayor Ernesto Mushond of withholding workers’ income from his farm company Montegrand.

The attorney general’s office said all three defendants withheld $ 275,145.31 in income tax between June and December 2020. However, the total amount is $ 550,290 with interest and penalties, according to the tax company.
