After three failed attempts, SpaceX’s new prototype starship rocket crashed into its fourth test lap on Tuesday, company founder Elon Musk confirmed on Twitter.

He wrote that “something important happened” in the genealogy. “We need to know what it is when we explore the pieces later,” Musk said jokingly: “At least the groove is in the right place!”

The SN11 rocket was launched from the company’s South Texas facility at 1:00 pm and began its 10 km ascent, experiencing some video glitches.

He was coming to the surface when the video signal was lost again.

“T plus we lost the clock in five minutes, 49 seconds,” said SpaceX announcer John Insprucker, referring to any time from the elevator.

“Looks like we had another awesome Starship No. 11 test,” he added.

The SN11 is the 11th starship prototype that SpaceX hopes to fly. If humans travel to the moon, Mars and beyond one day.

It was the fourth place to carry out an air test that tried to return to the ground for a smooth vertical landing.

Launched in December and February, respectively, SN8 and SN9 crashed on landing, while SN10 was able to land successfully, but exploded within minutes of the test on March 3rd.

Despite these failures, Analysts believe that SpaceX is collecting very valuable data that will help accelerate the development of its space program.

Eventually, SpaceX plans to combine the starship spacecraft with a super heavy rocket, creating a fully reusable team.

This final version will have a height of 120 meters and can carry 100 metric tons into Earth orbit, making it the most powerful missile vehicle ever built.
