A new agricultural communications platform is aiming to modernize how food and agriculture organizations distribute press releases, connect with industry journalists, and monitor media coverage across North America.

ReachAg PR, co-founded by longtime agricultural communications professional Warren Clark alongside Cam Camfield, Mace Thornton, and Jeff Caldwell, vice president of strategy and content at Stratovation Group, has been introduced as a dedicated self-service press release distribution and media monitoring platform for the food and agriculture sector.

New Platform Targets Changing Agricultural Media Needs

Clark has spent more than 40 years working through AgPR and AgNewsCenter to connect agricultural journalists and communications professionals with timely and relevant industry information.

The launch of ReachAg PR reflects changes in how agricultural organizations and public relations teams manage news distribution and track their visibility across an increasingly digital media landscape.

According to the announcement, agricultural communications teams now require faster self-service distribution tools, clearer information about where their stories are being published, and broader monitoring of digital news coverage.

ReachAg PR was developed to address those needs while focusing specifically on agriculture and food-related communications.

Tools for Agricultural Journalists and Broadcasters

For journalists and broadcasters covering U.S. and North American agriculture, ReachAg PR is designed to provide access to industry news organized by crop, geographic region and production system.

Media professionals can also control how news digests are delivered, allowing them to focus on subjects most relevant to their coverage.

The specialized approach is intended to reduce the volume of unrelated material journalists receive while making it easier to identify developments affecting specific agricultural sectors.

That could be particularly useful for reporters covering areas ranging from row crops and livestock to agribusiness, food production and regional farming issues.

Self-Service Distribution for Agribusiness Communications Teams

ReachAg PR also provides a self-service portal for agribusinesses, agricultural organizations and public relations professionals seeking to distribute announcements directly to verified agricultural media contacts across North America.

Rather than relying solely on general-purpose press release networks, organizations can use the platform to reach journalists and outlets focused specifically on agriculture and food.

The service combines press release distribution with automated placement analytics, allowing communications teams to better understand where their announcements receive coverage.

ReachAg PR also includes brand monitoring across more than 750 agricultural media outlets. The monitoring capability is designed to help organizations track mentions and evaluate the reach of their communications efforts across specialized industry publications.

AgPR Will Continue Operating Independently

The introduction of ReachAg PR does not replace Clark’s existing AgPR operation.

AgPR will continue to provide its independent, personalized and hands-on press release distribution service. ReachAg PR is positioned as an additional option for organizations that prefer a self-service approach supported by automated monitoring and analytics.

The two services therefore address different communications needs. AgPR retains its personalized distribution model, while ReachAg PR offers a technology-driven workflow for organizations seeking greater direct control over distribution and tracking.

Agricultural Communications Continue Digital Shift

The launch comes as agricultural media and communications increasingly rely on digital publishing, targeted distribution and real-time monitoring to reach specialized audiences.

For agribusinesses, commodity organizations and other groups operating within the food and agriculture economy, the ability to identify relevant journalists and measure subsequent media coverage can play an important role in communications planning.

ReachAg PR is designed to bring those functions together in one agriculture-focused system, combining targeted news distribution with placement analytics and monitoring across hundreds of industry outlets.

With AgPR continuing its established personalized service, the new ReachAg PR platform expands the available options for agricultural communicators and media professionals as the industry’s news distribution practices continue to evolve.
