SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Republic has advanced two positions in the “Passport Index 2024” published by the British company Henley, which describes that Dominicans can visit 72 countries without the need to apply for a visa.

Within six months, the Caribbean country rose from 72nd to 70th place, the report indicated. However, it is the third-fewest country in Latin America and the Caribbean for citizens with passports to access, behind only Haiti (53) and Cuba (63).

However, Quisqueyan country has more than 74 territories worldwide. In other words, your passport is “more powerful” because of the number of countries you can visit.

Above the Dominican Republic

In the Caribbean, Jamaica, Guyana, Dominica, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Kitts and Nevis, Bahamas, St. Lucia, and Barbados are located above the Dominican Republic. More than 90 locations. Some have access to over 150 territories.

From the United States Suriname (79), Bolivia (80), Ecuador (90), Belize (103), Venezuela (125), Nicaragua (128), Colombia and Honduras (133), El Salvador (134) and Peru (139), Henley He surpassed Quisquia in the examination.
