(CNN) –– A bear that caused partial closures at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on Monday has been captured without incident and has been relocated, according to a news release from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
“Most of the time, it’s best to give the bears their space and move on their own, but in this situation, staff caught the animal and moved the bear out of the park into or around the Ocala National Forest,” the commission explained.
The agency added that the animal was a female bear.
According to the My Disney Experience app, about a dozen attractions at the Magic Kingdom were closed Monday as officials tried to locate the bear.

It was not immediately clear if the closures, or how many of them, were related to bear sightings. CNN reached out to Disney for more details but has not yet heard back.
In an earlier statement, Disney said, “We are working with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and have decided to reopen Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland at Magic Kingdom Park.”
The complex has three main parks: EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.
