The men’s volleyball champion, Arcada Galaţi, defeated the SCM Zalău team this Friday, by a score of 3-0, in the first tournament of the year, counting for the opening stage of the second leg of Division A, and continues to be the leader of the competition.
The score in sets was 25-16, 25-13, 25-16, after 61 minutes of play.
After the victory in the match of the occupants of the first two places, Arcada Galaţi remains the leader of the ranking, with 30 points.
Also on Friday, in the Bucharest group, the match between Dinamo and UV Timişoara was played, score 3-0.
The first return tournament schedules matches, until Sunday, in Galaţi, Baia Mare, Craiova and Bucharest, and its program is:
Group 1 (Galaţi): SCM Zalău – Unirea Dej, CSM Arcada Galaţi – Unirea Dej;
Group 2 (Baia Mare): Baia Mare Exploration Science – Bucharest Science, Bucharest Science – Cluj University, Baia Mare Exploration Science – Cluj University;
Group 3 (Craiova): SCMU Craiova – CSU Braşov;
Group 4 (Bucharest): UV Timisoara – Steaua Bucharest, Dinamo Bucharest – Steaua Bucharest.
The return of Division A to women’s volleyball will begin at the end of next week, in the same system as the tournaments, which will be organized every two weeks.
