– Zarautz City Council, within the 2030 Schools Agenda, has developed a new procedure to educate students of Zarautz on nature conservation. To do this, the different areas of interest in the green-blue ring were distributed among the schools.
Salbatore Mitxelena Ikastola is responsible for the care of the Iñurritza-Talaimendi space, Orokieta Ikastetxea is responsible for the Irita-Asti wetlands and the Postenzori alder grove, the Lizardi Institute is responsible for the Postinizori alder grove and the surroundings of Aresia, Antoniono Ikastet. The aim of the initiative is to raise environmental awareness and develop skills such as research, care and critical opinion through this resource.
