Allegations of fraud against US candidate in the contest Miss Universe 2022, they started since the 28-year-old won the national competition last year.

Miss USA was held in October 2022, and just days after 28-year-old R’Bonnie Gabriel was named the winner, becoming the first Filipina-American to win the Miss USA title, her fellow contestants expressed their anger, claiming it was a set-up. And so Texas’ representative would win that night.

Following the crowning of the new queen, the first Asian-American contestant to win the Miss Texas USA state title, all the contestants left the stage to reject the crowning of the winner.

“Most of the Miss USA contestants feel very strongly that they support Miss Texas USA, and we have the receipts to prove it,” one of the contestants told Miss USA last October.

“I have no words,” he wrote. “The way I entered this pageant and gave every last bit of my heart and soul…we were humiliated to think we entered something with a fair chance,” said another Miss USA contestant.

After the allegations, the Miss Universe organization announced a full investigation, which has yet to receive any response. At the time, Miss USA and the current Miss Universe pageant denied cheating.

“The current allegations are based on perception and not based on fact,” he said. “I would never want to participate in a rigged pageant. I know all the contestants worked very hard and I don’t want these allegations to tarnish the achievements of all the women who competed in this year’s Miss USA pageant,” said R’Bonney Gabriel.

The young lady has won the Miss Universe 2022 pageant held last Saturday, January 14, in New Orleans, USA, and her election has created a lot of controversy as many have asserted that the candidate should not have won the pageant.
