A little more than a year ago, UCAM opened the doors of a high-tech incubator of Health, Sports and Food, during which time the goal launched by the President of the Foundation, José Luis Mendoza: to promote the transfer of knowledge to the productive fabric and the relationship between the university and the company through research and entrepreneurship. This year, 100 projects from across the country took part in its initiative, and two of the world’s best researchers in sensor chemistry recently joined.
Among its scheduled activities are the HiTech Entrepreneurship and Science Conferences, set under a cooperation agreement with the Institute for Regional Development (INFO), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Researchers, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and investors are taking part in this activity, which was attended this week by Sejal Ravji, corporate project advisor and one of the leading specialists in innovation in the food sector.

UCAM and INCYDE have signed a new cooperation agreement to implement six training actions focused on promoting entrepreneurship and job creation, which are part of the technology space of HiTech. It will be directed to the field of health, sports and nutrition, and will target people under 30 years of age. This training is funded by the European Social Fund. In addition, complementary activities such as orientation workshops, mentoring, follow-up, etc. will be developed. And the range of services will be increased, giving a strong impetus to the internationalization of HiTech.
