WhatsApp updates mean that the messaging service can no longer be used on a set of phones from iPhone, Samsung, LG and Huawei brands, with the cancellation of the service effective from November 30.

It is one of the most downloaded platforms in the world, used by millions of people every day for their communication. In fact, according to Google Play’s latest update, the US company’s app store is the second most downloaded app in the world after Instagram.

Devices running Android 4.0.3 operating system or iPhones with iOS 12 version and earlier will no longer be able to use WhatsApp. This is because with various updates of the service owned by the Meta company, different models stop processing the application.

In the period starting November 30, the phones that couldn’t use WhatsApp were, in some cases, nearly a decade old, while others were at least five years old. This is the case with the iPhone SE from 2016 or the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 announced in February 2012.

Those who own any of these devices and want to use Whatsapp should buy a new device and backup their chat history to avoid losing it.

On which mobile phones WhatsApp will be discontinued from November 30?

iPhone: iPhone 6S, iPhone SE, iPhone 6S Plus.

Samsung: Samsung Galaxy Core, Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, Samsung Galaxy Trend II and Samsung Galaxy X Cover 2.
