Santiago Giménez is already living his first hours as a future Feyenoord player. The Mexican striker arrived in the Netherlands this Thursday afternoon, surrounded by journalists and fans who witnessed first-hand the image of the future striker. In addition, the still Cruz Azul soccer player posed with his new colors: red and black.

As soon as he set foot at Amsterdam airport, he was greeted by representatives of the European team and given a scarf in the colors of Feyenoord. With the obligatory photos in front of journalists ‘in situ’, fans and enthusiasts, Jiménez began to live his particular European dream.

The rest of the day was spent in the capital of the Netherlands Tomorrow he goes to Rotterdam to undergo a medical and sign the contract. Pictures of the Cruz Azul striker in the match with colors other than light blue have exploded on social media.

Also, Santiago Giménez has been rooted to one club—literally—his entire life: Cruz Azul. He started to stand out in smaller categories and since then he was seen as the next hope of cement quarry. He went through the entire process of basic powers at La Maquina until he made his debut with the first team.

Blue > Red and Black

That’s why every picture of Bepot on the pitch is blue, wearing Cruz Azul. Now, with a new phase in his career, his fans and his own players will have to get used to the red and black of his new club.
