Lee County officials said about 7,000 homes or 15,000 people were without electricity due to severe weather and several storms across South Florida.
During a press conference, four injuries were reported, and more than 28 apartments in Lee County were destroyed, leaving 62 homes uninhabitable.
The National Weather Service (NWS) on Sunday morning confirmed at least one hurricane in Collier County. A few hours later, they pointed out that Hurricane EF2 was blowing at 118 mph and was recorded from 7:35 a.m. to 7:40 p.m.
The hurricane went through three mobile home communities: Point Breeze, Tropicana and Century 21.
Authorities said a truck was brought down by a tornado on I-75 heading north.

The Iona McGregor Fire Department reports significant damage to its service area.
Some mobile homes were destroyed in Iona. Khalid Akhil, deputy head of the Iona Magricore Fire Department, estimates that 150 to 200 people have been displaced by the storms.
The Red Cross is currently working closely with emergency teams in Fort Myers to provide assistance to those in need and to help find a place to stay for displaced people.
