A week ago WhatsApp, along with other social networking sites affiliated with Facebook, experienced the longest decline in their recent history. Unfortunately for some users of the popular messaging application, the problem does not end there, as until next November 1, the company will stop working on the messaging service on 53 smartphone models that it considers obsolete.
Why does WhatsApp stop working on some cell phones?
App developers are constantly adding new functions and applications to WhatsApp to enhance your user experience. For example, initially you will not be able to record voice notes, make video calls, or share your location in real time. All of these features were added during various updates.
However, as the application builds more applications, more storage space or better requirements are required to function properly. This is why some cell phones, due to their operating system or their components, are no longer compatible with the latest versions of WhatsApp.

For this latest update, WhatsApp has announced that it will no longer run on all devices running Android 4.1, iOS 10, KIOS 2.5.1 operating systems and any older version of these.

The good news is, with your chats, all your photos and important files, this processor is enabled for the new smartphone you decide to buy. The process is usually quite simple if you are going to transfer your data from one Android device to another. All you have to do is make a backup copy of your Google Drive account and then restore it when you install WhatsApp on another phone.
For Apple, things can get complicated if you want to transfer your data from iPhone to Android device. Currently only Samsung phones with Android 10 or higher can do this with the USB cable and the Samsung Smart Switch application.
