Why did El Puma create Honduran cuisine in Top Chef VIP?

Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Venezuelan singer, Jose Luis Rodriguez, artistically “Puma”, honoring Honduras in the show Best Chef VIP 2024, There he competes with other celebrities.

The famous singer and actor not only prepared one of the most representative typical dishes of the five-star nation, but also shed tears while explaining the reason.

Challenge imposed by Best Chef VIP 2024 It consisted of preparing a dish from Central American cuisine. Contestants have to come forward and choose one of two options per country.

His companions chose dishes from Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama and Nicaragua, but “El Puma”, without thinking about it, took one of the two options of the Catracha dish.

After the preparation, “El Puma” went before the judges and presented his dish, which he decided to call “Grateful”, and when they asked him why he chose the Honduran dish and why he named it that way, he moved everyone. Answer

“It's called Gratitude in honor of two women, Sarah and Marlene,” the 81-year-old singer said.

“Sarah has been with us for over 20 years, she started out as one thing, then she outdid herself, she was our secretary and Marlene was a wonderful, lovely person…” he began. A breath to keep from crying.

“I don't like being broken,” he added, while his teammates applauded him proudly.

The judges tried the food and praised the performer of songs such as “Dueno de Nada” and “Acurrence de los Manos”. Although he did not win this challenge, he won the hearts of the audience.

“This is the first time a good dish has come out here,” he said, adding that he had done well in the test.
