Apple Watch 7 contains a secret module for data transfer, Reports Macromakers who recently approached Apple’s Federal Communications Commission with specifications of the new device provided by Apple.
According to the documentation, the Apple Watch Series 7 models include a new module that allows wireless data transfer with a frequency of 60.5 GHz, but its functionality is reserved for internal enterprise use.
The speed of Apple Watch’s wireless data transfer is not yet known, and it is not clear whether this technology will be available to users of the device or to other products of technology companies in the future.
The Apple Watch 7 was unveiled on September 14 at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino (California, USA). The new watch offers a larger screen, water resistance and greater protection against bumps and dirt.
