Today, our lives are increasingly intertwined Mobile applicationsBe it connecting on social networks or managing our finances.

However, this can represent a risk as apps typically have access to a significant amount of our personal information.

For this reason, at Tech Bit we present some apps that can steal your banking information if installed on your mobile device.

What apps can steal your bank details?

According to a recent report ZscalerA leading cyber security firm has identified two applications affected by the Anatsa Bank Trojan known as Teabot.

  1. They warn citizens to avoid scams by using mobile apps

This malware is specifically designed to steal access credentials for electronic banking platforms.

According to the Cyber Security Institute, the following apps on the Play Store have been identified as carriers of this virus:

PDF Reader & File ManagementA: It is a mobile application that allows users to view and manage PDF files on their devices. In addition to reading PDFs, some versions include additional features such as file organization, highlighting, and document annotations.

QR Reader & File Manager: This is an application designed to allow users to scan QR codes with their cell phone camera. It also offers additional features such as the ability to manage and organize files on the device such as documents, images, videos, etc.

Both these apps were recently removed from the App Store after Teapot received a report.

However, even if these apps have already been removed from the Play Store, you can keep them on your device.
