Matanzas, Cuba. – Matanzas Province’s STI contributions focused on food and nutrition security, energy, environment, digital transformation, construction, local development, and public policy.
The regional delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) together with universities and the government promoted actions that contribute to scientific work for the well-being of the population and the economy.
For this year in Matanzas, the science management of the municipality will be strengthened, the quality of training will be strengthened and the number of classified researchers and technicians will increase.
The region will prioritize attention to the reserve, and increase the number of doctors in key sectors by leveraging collective intelligence, innovative thinking and creativity.
