Santo Domingo.- Margarita Cedeno, former vice president of the Dominican Republic, said the cost of living was unmanageable for the majority of the country’s population.

He opined that this led to personal debt in the short term and loss of standard of living for thousands of families.

A timid administration

In written statements published by the PLD newspaper Vanguardia del Pueblo, 2023 assessed that the cause was a fearful administration that did not provide an efficient response to the country’s difficulties.

Problems in agriculture, education and health
