(CNN) – Zada Pinkett Smith Her husband spoke for the first time after the controversy at the Oscars Will Smith slapped Chris Rock For making fun of her.
“It’s healing season, and here I am.” Pinkett Smith said.
The “Matrix” star has been at the center of controversy since Rock teased about his shaved head at Sunday’s Academy Awards.
“Jada, I love you, ‘GI Jane 2,’ I can not wait to see it,” Rock said.
In the movie “GI Jane”, star Demi Moore shaves her head.
Will Smith was offended by the joke that Pinkett Smith was suffering Hair loss due to alopecia.
Smith ran up to the stage and slapped Rock in the face, and he returned to his seat and shouted at Rock, “Take my wife’s name out of your mouth!”
Smith apologized to Rock on Monday in a statement posted on social media.
