The National Electoral Council (CNE) and the National Register called a press conference this Thursday in which the election of Gustavo Pedro and Francia Marquez was officially announced, announcing the Presidential formula of accepting the mandate from next August 7th.

After the pre-counting and review process was fully completed, there was no claim, and finally Pedro received 11,291,986 votes nationwide.

For this reason, CNE prepared Resolution 3235 of 2022, which announced the election of Pedro and Marquez as a formula to replace Evan Marquez and Marta Lucia Ramirez in the Gaza Strip.

“Elections for the period 2022-2026 have been announced. The second round of elections in Colombia on June 19, 2022, declared Gustavo Pedro and Francia Marquez the winners of those elections. “

After receiving credentials, Pedro announced his support for the issuance of an election code approved by Congress after August 7, but the Constitutional Court overturned it. However he acknowledged that their numbers were not enough to defeat Obama’s commitment to the cause. Election officials tried to make election days better.

The president-elect thanked all his constituents.

Similarly he points out Tax reform is one of the priorities for equity in the country, and he knows it will be a hotly debated topic in Congress: “That’s the national agreement, there should be no hungry Colombians, there should be food production in the fields, that’s why we have to work.”

In that regard, he said, there should be a ‘national agreement’ to guarantee the implementation of the reform based on the agreements made with the various political and business sectors of the country. “I called Rodolfo Hernandez and Alvaro Uribe so we could talk,” Pedro said.

“What we are going to ask them is not really a pocket expense called taxes, but the four thousand and five thousand people who have received the most privileges in Colombia, what we are going to ask them. Not in an investment company, but in the Colombian community,” the elected president said.

He added, “This is an investment called public education, it’s called zero hunger. With zero corruption, the Colombian community can thrive, with the commitment that the institution can be that big.

In addition, he pointed out that “the era of change begins in Colombia” and reiterated that he seeks that national agreement to guarantee his rule.

For its method, Francia Marquez reiterated that she would work for the poorest communities in Colombia. “We are going to work for all Colombians, for the country’s peasants and workers. Above all, I can feel my black people being represented. I want to contribute to a lot of work to improve the situation in Colombia. We can all use love and happiness as a tool to live deliciously,” he reiterated.
