The appointment is convened by the Environment Agency of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, together with other entities and organizations, and on this occasion it will be participating in the face-to-face and virtual modality, respecting the health measures of distancing, indicates Latin Press.
Cubambiente 2021 will be organized in several events that will cover highly relevant topics: XIII Congress on Environmental Education for Sustainable Development, XII Congress on Protected Areas, X Congress on Environmental Management, VIII Congress on Ecosystem and Biodiversity Management, VII Congress on Climate Change , V Congress of Politics, Justice and Environmental Law and I Congress of Geospatial Sciences and Disaster Risk. In addition, an Associated Exhibition of Technologies, Projects and Environmental Experiences is presented, as in previous years.
At a press conference, Dr. Maritza García García, president of the Environment Agency and the organizing committee of the event, said that to date they have 1,079 scientific papers to present, of which 274 are by foreign speakers.
He added that, for the first time, the Congress of Geospatial Sciences, Space Weather and Disaster Risk will take place with 127 presentations on the use of tools and methodologies for space weather, as well as proposals for studies, natural and engineering solutions and local implementation. of results, indicated Prensa Latina.
The previous editions of this conclave have achieved the participation of more than 10,400 people, of which approximately 50% correspond to visitors from more than 60 countries on the 5 continents.
