In an interview with Pink Floyd co-founder R.D., we learned that the journalist “committed no crime” and “gave the news everything he did.”

Famous British musician Roger Waters, co-founder of Pink Floyd, has urged US President Joe Biden to end the persecution of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

In an interview RT, Waters explains, if he fights for Assange’s independence “because he is an example: Keep your mouth shut Or it will happen to you. “They are trying to kill Julian Assange because he told the truth and he hates it,” he scolded the musician.

According to Waters, “it is interesting to note that the Democrats have not yet returned to the Obama administration’s claim that the president has no case. […] Julian Assange cannot be prosecuted because if you do, you will have to punish all publishers who publish any facts that may embarrass you. “

“He committed no crime.”

The journalist, co-founder of Pink Floyd, recalled that “we know” that he “committed no crime” and that “everything he did was reported”.

“If it’s a crime, we should lock the editorials of The New York Times and others,” the musician said, adding that “everything is a complete farce.”

Waters is urging Biden and his administration to drop charges against Assange, who faces up to 175 years in prison. “Of course, Did not spy or commit any crime It can be implemented in the United States, “he said.

  • Julian Assange, 49, has leaked hundreds of thousands of pages of secret US documents about US operations in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and allegations of spying and hacking into diplomatic cables through its WikiLeaks leak port.
  • The activist is currently being held in a high-security prison in Belmarsh (United Kingdom). Lennon Moreno was detained at the Ecuadorian embassy in London in April 2019 following the government’s decision to withdraw his asylum.
