“It breaks my heart to share that I said goodbye to my first born Andron yesterday. We both shared a love for basketball and had countless conversations about the game,” wrote Pippan, who won six championship rings with Michael Jordan, who played 17 NBA seasons.
“Andron suffered from chronic asthma, and if he had not, I think he would have included it in the NBA. However, he never put it off: Andron worked hard from the positive, I’m very proud of the man he was. Changed,” Continued.
Andron was born in 1987 to Karen McCollum, who married Scotty in 1988. The couple split in 1990.
Pippon did not disclose the cause of death.
Andron played basketball at Texas A&M International University.
