Juan Andreotti presented compactor trucks for the care of public space and the environment

The Municipality of San Fernando carries out an important investment to update and maintain its fleet of vehicles that every day provide services that improve the quality of life of the residents. To expand the provision of machinery and mobiles on public roads, Mayor Juan Andreotti presented five brand-new vehicles purchased with municipal funds, together with the Secretary for Social Development, Education and the Environment, Eva Andreotti and the Secretary for Public Services and Spaces, Martin Galera.

“We are presenting new vehicles for the municipal fleet: four compactors and a truck for the EcoSanfer area. Years ago, San Fernando became the district with the largest vehicle fleet, which allows us to provide quality service in each block. Both in the area of ​​Public Works, where we not only make arrangements, but we build sidewalks and streets; in Public Spaces services and also in our recycling and environment program ”, highlighted Juan Andreotti.

In this sense, the Community Chief remarked: “Today we incorporate trucks for the care of the environment from Eco Sanfer, a program of our management that grows day by day and is based on raising awareness among our neighbors in caring for the environment, the way of relating to each other. with the place where we live and recycling ”.

Finally, Andreotti recalled: “At this moment we are also building our own recycling plant and all this incorporation of trucks will allow us to develop a great job and continue expanding our recycling points.”

The new vehicles are three Iveco waste compactors, one to collect recyclable materials through the Eco_Sanfer Program and a Hilux truck.
