KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The 2026 Nitro Circus 2.0 Tour Presented by Ram Trucks is set to make a stop in Knoxville on Saturday, Aug. 29, bringing one of the world’s premier action sports entertainment productions to Covenant Health Park. The event will feature elite athletes, high-risk stunts, and an all-new lineup of performances designed to attract fans of freestyle motorsports and family entertainment alike.
Co-founded by action sports icon Travis Pastrana, Nitro Circus has become one of the most recognizable names in live extreme sports. The touring production combines Freestyle Motocross (FMX), BMX, skateboarding, scooter riding, and inventive stunt performances into a fast-paced live show that has sold more than 4 million tickets worldwide.
The Knoxville event is part of the 2026 Nitro Circus 2.0 Tour, which introduces a refreshed production featuring more than 100 stunts performed by 20 professional athletes. Organizers say the latest edition of the show includes several new record-attempting performances alongside fan-favorite attractions that have helped establish Nitro Circus as a global entertainment brand.
One of the headline moments of the 2026 production will feature Freestyle Motocross athlete Adam Jones attempting what organizers describe as a historic stunt. Jones is scheduled to perform a 75-foot backflip while breaking through a 35-foot wall of fire, a feat that has never previously been attempted during a Nitro Circus event.
Another major attraction will showcase thrill-seeker Ryan Bean, who is set to perform a death dive from Nitro Circus’ iconic Giganta Ramp. The approximately 40-foot plunge into a body of water measuring just 3.5 feet deep draws inspiration from traditional circus entertainment while incorporating the extreme athleticism that defines the modern Nitro Circus experience.
The tour will also mark the return of snowmobile stunts to the live production. Rider Cody Matechuk is expected to demonstrate aerial tricks using the newly developed Next Gen Ramp, which has been engineered to generate greater height and allow for multiple advanced backflip variations compared with previous ramp designs.
Beyond traditional action sports, Nitro Circus will continue its signature use of unconventional stunt vehicles and oversized contraptions. Returning crowd favorites include a flying couch, kayak, and horse-inspired vehicle, while organizers have also teased several new additions that will make their public debut during the 2026 tour.
