Gothenburg-based dark alternative metal band OUTSHINE has released a new music video for its latest single “Enough”, marking the first instalment in a broader multi-part visual project tied to its forthcoming album Truthsayer, due for release on 26 June 2026 via Eclipse Records.
The single and accompanying video form part of a structured promotional rollout, with the band adopting a cinematic storytelling approach designed to extend audience engagement beyond traditional music releases. Directed by Kenny Boufadene, whose previous credits include work with Manimal and Ice Age, the video introduces a narrative arc that will unfold across four interconnected chapters.

Narrative-driven video explores social division themes
In the “Enough” video, frontman Jimmy Boman reprises his recurring persona, Reverend Boman, a character embedded within the band’s conceptual framework. The storyline centres on a symbolic gathering of individuals from differing social classes — including a banker, a baron and a labourer — who are invited to consume an “awakening elixir”.
The imagery draws heavily on occult motifs, aligning with the band’s darker aesthetic while reinforcing the track’s thematic focus on societal division and manipulation. The video positions itself as both a creative expression and a commentary on contemporary social tensions.
Boman said the track reflects concerns about division and misinformation in modern society.
“Enough is a song about the broken society we now live in” explains vocalist Jimmy Boman. ” We are pushed to pick sides, and we are brainwashed to take a stand without thinking about what is actually true or not. People are inserted by fear and because of this friends and family end up in made-up arguments, it’s all very soul-breaking. But we need to say enough and wake up to see that we are being used as pawns be the elites and that we should not be enemies with each other.”
Album Truthsayer positioned as thematic and musical expansion
The upcoming album Truthsayer represents OUTSHINE’s latest full-length project and is positioned as a continuation of the band’s exploration of dark yet ultimately hopeful themes. The record comprises nine tracks, including “Enough”, “You Are Not Alone”, and “Emptiness Inside”.
