New co-working space A Verea opens its doors in Losar de la Vera

A Verea, the co-working space promoted by the Losar de la Vera City Council, is now operational. It was launched on Friday of last week, in the presence of businessmen, residents, and regional and local authorities, led by Mayor Antonio Sanchez.

The City Council celebrates that it is already receiving requests for information to take advantage of this co-working space, located in the Salmorena building, at number 5 Camino Viejo de Cuartos Street, which is particularly aimed at digital citizens.

The project is the result of the efforts made by the current government team, including a meeting with the General Director of Regional Digitization of the Council, Jesús Coslado, to announce the initiative and seek funding, as part of the municipality's commitment to the digitization of services.

Both the city's mayor and Los Angeles City Council Innovation Advisor Gabriel Anton attended and came away with “good prospects” for future funding.

The Losaro coworking space has a fiber optic line to ensure optimal internet connection speed, a coworking space, a meeting room and capacity for dozens of “companies and entrepreneurs interested in showcasing themselves to the world from Losar, a paradise of nature, mountains and natural valleys,” they affirm.

In addition to the initial investment of 10,000 euros, financed with its own funds and intended for the purchase of the necessary computer equipment, such as servers or video conferencing systems, the new infrastructure was carried out in collaboration with Academia Antón, which donated part of the furniture with which the different workstations were created.
