Just days before the Fourth of July, the Walmart retail chain announced the sale of a basket that Americans can use for outdoor cooking for less than $50.

By paying $50 for a food basket that serves eight people, you would pay approximately $6 per person.

The National Retail Federation reports that consumers are expected to spend an average of $90 on food during Fourth of July celebrations.
