Google has launched the Fitbit Ace LTE, a smartwatch designed for kids that focuses on encouraging physical activity through interactive games. This recently launched device entertains children and encourages them to move and be active in a fun, educational way.

To achieve this, the watch features Fitbit Arcade, a collection of games designed to take advantage of the user's movement. According to the companyThis approach encourages children to be physically active because the more they move, the more they progress in games and the more rewards they receive. This creates a positive cycle that encourages healthy habits from an early age.

The device measures various physical activities such as number of steps, jumps and daily activity time, The watch's main screen displays them visually through a ring of functions called a noodle.

When children reach their daily movement goalsNoodle celebrates with fun animations and encourages them to be active and beat their own achievements.

“By completing daily activities and progressing through each game, kids earn a ticket to the game room to customize their avatar's look or decorate their house in Pit Valley, the avatar's own home,” the company said.

In addition to being an entertainment and fitness-driven device, the Fitbit Ace LTE offers parents a tool for peace of mind and security. Equipped with built-in LTE connectivity, it allows parents to track their children's real-time location and communicate with them through calls, texts and voice messages.

The watch also has an emergency contacts function, allowing children to quickly call their parents or other pre-defined contacts in emergency situations, ensuring that they are always available in case of need.

Based on design and resistance, Fitbit Ace LTE is equipped for active use by children and its battery is capable of up to 16 hours. Thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass 3 water resistance up to 50 meters and protection against bumps and scratches, the device is ready to face children's daily activities without compromising its functionality or durability.

Besides, The smartwatch offers the ability to set a school schedule, which allows parents to set the timing of certain activities, such as sports.Class hours are restricted to avoid distractions.

Google has announced future plans to further improve the functionality of the Fitbit Ace LTE. In the coming months, 'tape to pay' is expected to be implemented. A feature that allows kids to make contactless payments using their own pocket money.

In addition, we plan to continue to update the games available on Fitbit Arcade to ensure that children always have access to new gaming experiences and get them interested and motivated in their daily physical activity.
