Ecuadorian shoe brand Bungie capitalizes on viral platform shoes produced by president Daniel Noboa. Marketing their products.

On his Instagram and TikTok accounts, he launched a campaign with videos related to the shoes worn by the president in his May 24 State of the Nation address and the brand's signature song.

In one of the pieces uploaded to Instagram, two children pose as First Lady Lavinia Valbonacci and President Daniel Noboa. Girl in white dress and boy in black dress and a sari. The boy in dark glasses says: “Hello, Bungie friends, we have the president,” and they promise to send the president a pair of shoes from an Ecuadorian brand.

Milena López, Bunky's Marketing Coordinator, says they are very happy because the brand is already on trend with what she calls Bunky Prada “thanks to the president”.

He also says that there are rumors that these shoes are sold out, which he clarifies that this is not the case.

Its catalog includes similar models priced between $34 and $38.

The shoe company's campaign is part of the hundreds of reactions, comments, memes and cartoons Noboa's used shoes have generated. Her footwear is not the Bungie, but rather the Prada brand's Monolith Leather Derby model. According to the brand's website, it costs between $800 and $1,200. (YO)
