The documentary 'Courtois: La Vuelta del Numero 1' will premiere in September, Prime Video announced this Wednesday.
The documentary chronicles the Belgian goalkeeper's recovery from two serious knee injuries in four episodes.
On August 10, 2023, Thibaut Courtois overcame a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, and then on March 19 a torn right meniscus.
The first preview posted by the footballer on his Instagram account showed the exact moment of the injury and the Belgian goalkeeper's horrifying screams of pain.
His own colleagues spoke of how they felt at the time and expressed their immense concern.
The documentaries will be screened on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories as part of a Prime subscription, and feature Courtois' work to play a decisive stretch of the season. It is produced by Wakai Media and consists of four episodes.
