Móstoles, Feb 13 (EFE) .- The Móstoles City Council has launched new remodeling works in the La Princesa neighborhood, where a canine recreation area is being built and a space is being created for the enjoyment of the residents that includes a tree planting to make the place a more welcoming environment.

During the remodeling of the area, located between Francisco Javier Sauquillo streets and Alcalde de Móstoles avenue, workers in the parks and gardens area of ​​the Department of Improvement and Maintenance of Public Spaces will plant trees in order to avoid the direct impact of the sun on the hottest days.

“This action is part of the commitment of the Local Executive to make Móstoles a more humane and fully accessible city for citizens”, they have added from the municipal government, formed by PSOE and Podemos.

The works being carried out, included in the participatory budgets, complete the remodeling of the area near the CEIP Federico García Lorca and also include the creation of a 600-square-meter recreation area for dogs, as indicated by the Consistory in a note.

For its qualification it has been necessary to lower the land that will be delimited around the perimeter with an anti-leak fence, to later fill it with river sand, having two pedestrian entrances and a double-leaf door for the access of cleaning vehicles.

The works also include the construction of an accessible sidewalk for all groups that facilitates the passage of citizens with their pets and the installation of six streetlights with LED technology luminaires as well as a fountain with two heights so that both people and people can drink. dogs.
